Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor and singer. Tatum made his film debut in the drama film Coach Carter (2005). His breakthrough role was in the 2006 dance film Step Up, which introduced him to a wider audience. He is known for his portrayal of the character Duke in the 2009 action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Although both G.I. Channing Tatum was seen on the London set of Magic Mike 3 - which has been titled Magic Mike's Last Dance - for the first time on Thursday.The actor, 41, sported a shaved head and looked toned even with a heavy denim jacket on while filming scenes for the final chapter of the male stripper trilogy.Also on set of the comedy-drama feature - which brought in nearly $300million worldwide with the first two films - wasnew cast member Thandiwe Newton, 49, in photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Back at it:Channing Tatum was on the set of Magic Mike 3 for the first time on Thursday. He is reprising his role as Mike Lane in LondonTatum looked casual on set, rocking a blue T-shirt along with a pair of oversized brown jeans and white Converse sneakers.

The Alabama-born star also sported a well-worn jean jacket that covered up his impressive muscles.The original Magic Mike movie premiered in 2012 and wasdirected by Steven Soderbergh - who is also the director of the latest installment - and was loosely based on the experiences of Tatum, who was an 18-year-old stripper in Tampa, Florida.
