It's already one of life's most stressful experiences. So imagine moving house during the coronavirus crisis. Despite the property market being in deep freeze since the pandemic began, lots of buyers with deals already in place have still been getting the keys to their new homes.

Stuart Rootham was one of those people. He moved into his new home, a newly built four bed townhouse in Didsbury, on February 28.

At that point coronavirus restrictions were being discussed, but the full lockdown seemed a long way off. He said: "Our timeline was very much dictated by how quickly they could build it, and at the point we were hurtling quite quickly towards lockdown.
