EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Thau is leaving UTA after 17 years. A longtime COO of the agency, he most recently served as the Co-Head of UTA Sports.
His departure was announced in an internal memo today, a copy of which was obtained by Deadline from sources. Thau served as COO of UTA from 2007, when he joined the agency, until this past June when Bob Roback was name to the post.
At the time, Thau was to focus solely on his role as co-head of UTA Sports, which he took on last year in addition to his COO responsibilities.
Rich Paul, CEO of KLUTCH Sports Group, who partnered with UTA in 2019, will continue to lead the agency’s efforts in the sports space.
