HIGH-PROFILE motoring organisations have joined the wartime-like effort to build more ventilators for the NHS in the fight against the coronavirus.The VentilatorChallengeUK Consortium is made up of industrial, technology and engineering businesses from across the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors.Among those involved are UK-based Formula One teams Haas F1, McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, Racing Point, Renault Sport Racing and Williams.Ford is also part of the consortium, which has orders from the Government to make more than 10,000 machines for COVID-19 patients.
