The Maccabees have announced the first support acts for their huge reunion show at All Points East 2025.As confirmed earlier this week, the London band are set to take to stage in the capital’s Victoria Park on August 24 for their first gig together in eight years. The performance will coincide with the 10th anniversary of their fourth and final album, ‘Marks To Prove It’.It was also revealed that The Maccabees would be collaborating with All Points East to curate the full line-up for the day, including “artists that they love, both old and new”.Now, the first wave of opening artists has been shared in the form of Bombay Bicycle Club, The Cribs, Dry Cleaning, Nilüfer Yanya, The Murder Capital, Divorce and Prima Queen.Many more acts are to be announced in the coming months, organisers have promised.

Orlando Weeks has announced a UK headline tour for this autumn, following the release of his new album ‘Loja’. Find all the details below.The former Maccabees frontman will kick off the tour in Newcastle on September 24. He’ll then make stops in Manchester (September 25), Norwich (26), Leeds (27), Bristol (28), Southampton (October 2) and London (3).Weeks’ upcoming tour is scheduled to conclude in Brighton on October 4.

Orlando Weeks has teamed up with Chartreuse on their new track ‘Satellites’.The collaboration, which you can listen to below, hears the former Maccabees frontman swap vocals with the Black Country quartet’s Hattie Wilson and Mike Wagstaff.“We’ve been big fans of Orlando’s work for many years and were introduced over email a few years back,” the band said.“We sent him a piano idea we’d been messing around with that we couldn’t seem to go any further with. He sent back a beautiful voice recording from his laptop microphone of an almost finished song about Satellites.

The Maccabees‘ Felix and Hugo White have announced that they’ve formed a new band with brother Will called 86TVs.As revealed by Felix today (July 15), the band played a debut gig for friends and family at London’s Omeara last night, with new music and further live performances promised before the end of the year. The band is completed by Jamie Morrison on drums.“I’ve been making a record with my brothers for the past few years,” Felix wrote on Instagram alongside footage of last night’s gig.
