Morrisons claims she was left tearful and “humiliated” after she was refused the 10% discount offered to NHS workers. Denise Taylor works for a company called Comfort Call and provides people up to the age of 100 with help at home such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care, bathing, dressing and medicating.She usually works as a supply teacher but decided to become a care worker during the pandemic.Denise was carrying her Comfort Call ID, in the Cheltenham branch of the supermarket, as well as a letter from the NHS confirming her status as a key worker.But Morrisons staff told her they need to see an official NHS photo ID badge for the discount.
