THE Chase fans were so impressed with a player that they called for him to be offered a JOB on the show. Viewers called for the contestant to become the show's new Chaser after he banked £11,000 in the cash builder round.
They said Bradley Walsh should hire John after he made The Beast Mark Labbett squirm during a tricky round. The 56-year-old electrical engineer from Kent was offered 50,000 but decided to take the middle offer in order to get back to his team for the final chase.
John also made show history after answering a staggering 11 questions correctly in the quickfire question round. An amazed Bradley told him: "The show's over!
I can't remember the last time that has happened." "What's that?" John replied as Bradley said: "Full house, £11,000, that is spectacular." @font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:400;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:500;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.ttf').
