Leeds United supporters during the 2019/20 season, according to new figures released by the Home Office.That’s more arrests than any other club in England and Wales.Fans were arrested 19 times for public disorder, 15 times for alcohol offences, 10 times for violent disorder, three for throwing missiles, two for pitch incursion, and once each for possession of an offensive weapon, possession of pyrotechnics, and criminal damage.Birmingham City had the next highest number of arrests (49), followed by Bolton (45), Aston Villa (31), West Ham (30), Manchester City (29) and Cardiff (27).The number of Leeds fans arrested represent just a tiny fraction of the 10s of thousands who attend matches every week, but worryingly the number is on the rise.
