This is why it can be so appealing to midlife men. “You’ll get the men in Hollywood who started injectables in the nineties and now look a bit weird, as they started Botox at the very beginning,” says Jack. “But there is also a healthy amount of A-listers who almost seem proud of having ‘work’ done, and they are usually the more confident types.”For Jack, there’s definitely a ‘sweet spot’ for midlife tweaks.
The trick is to start with a tiny amount of Botox and build from there, so over time you can see how your face looks, moves and feels with a tiny amount of toxin.
Too much filler in the cheeks is the biggest giveaway for bad work, and also Botox that is placed too dominantly in the forehead can result in overarching brows.
This is immediately feminising, says Jack, who points out that men naturally have heavier set brows than females, a trait that should completely stay intact.
