Pep Guardiola has reportedly chosen to sign Harry Kane over Erling Haaland this summer. The Manchester Evening News understands that City are keen to bring Haaland to the Premier League.
However, recently surfaced reports suggesting that a deal is already done are slightly premature. Italian journalist Fabio Gatto has claimed that Guardiola is 'unsure' about the 21-year-old and would rather bring Tottenham striker Kane to the Etihad.
Kane was heavily linked with a move to Manchester last summer but the deal eventually fell through. He explained: "Man City is close to Kane. "The player was chosen by Guardiola himself because he believes he fits his style of play.
