Manchester United have commenced plans to expand Old Trafford and modernise the dated stadium. The United chief operating officer Collette Roche has said planning is underway for major work at the 111-year-old stadium and initial meetings have taken place with architectural and engineering companies.
United are also in advanced planning to enhance facilities at their Carrington training complex, where a three-group facility will be installed to accommodate the first-team, academy and women's team.
