Manchester Dogs' Home has reopened - take a look at some of the pups looking for loving new homes

appealing for both food and cash donations last month. Now there's hope on the horizon for the dogs at the shelter, as they will finally be allowed to meet with their potential forever families.

Visits will be by appointment only at both its Harpurhey shelter and at Cheshire Dogs' Home in Warrington. Posting the news with a picture of a hand sanitising station fastened to the gate, the charity said it was 'very pleased' to be open again and thanked people for their support and patience.
