Manchester City will reportedly let Sergio Aguero leave if their two-year Champions League ban is upheld. City are confident of keeping the majority of their squad together despite having been banned from European competition for two years.
The club are taking their fight to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after being found guilty by UEFA of breaching financial fair play rules.
But if their appeal is unsuccessful, City will be prepared to let Aguero leave in search of Champions League football, according to The Sun .
After this season, Aguero will enter the final year of his contract at the Etihad, and the publication says he will be treated as a special case - although there is no suggestion the 31-year-old Argentine wants to leave
