A serial rapist from Lanarkshire who carried out his first sex attack when he was just 13-years-old has been warned he faces an extended prison sentence.Vile Edward Young was due to be sentenced on Wednesday after being found guilty of a series of serious sex attacks on women. However, Judge Lorna Drummond QC deferred sentence for the preparation of a full report on the appropriateness of an extended sentence. She told the High Court in Dundee that she had to look at the possibility because Young had been assessed as posing "a medium risk of committing sexual and violent offending."The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
