Ayrshire's longest standing local businesses is to close for good.Kilmarnock Pram Centre will shut down at the end of next month following owner Ron Fleming's "semi-retirement".The family-run business owned by Ron and Babs Fleming and their daughter, Julie Easton, will stop selling nursery and pram goods and relocate to another venue in the town where it will only sell knitting wool.In a statement on the New Mill Road firm's Facebook page, the trio posted: "Due to Mr Fleming’s semi retirement after 45 years in business we’re sad to announce that as of May 30 we will be moving to a new premises and no longer selling prams and nursery goods, only knitting wool. "This premises will be at 9 High Glencairn Street, Kilmarnock ( between the Forum.
