great white shark which attacked him out of the blue while startled fishermen look on in shock.The short clip shows the aftermath of the attack in Australia as the fisherman perched on a bank watch the waves roll over the scene of the fatal attack.

Blurred out in the centre, red water marks the spot where the remains of the unfortunate swimmer, who was reportedly bitten in half, float.

Narrating the video, a stunned onlooker says: "Someone just got eaten by a shark! A big great white."The attack took place in broad daylight at 4:30pm in the water off Little Bay Beach, Sydney, today (February 16).

It happened in front of a packed beach that could only watch in horror from the shore as the swimmer was quickly eaten by the killer beast.
