The Loose Women panel had viewers in tears on Thursday afternoon's episode as the ladies came together in unity sporting blue clothing in memory of Brenda Edwards' son Jamal who tragically passed away in February last year at the age of only 31.In an eye-watering show, the presenters were all wearing royal blue out of respect for Jamal, who lost his life due to a heart attack as a result of recreational drugs.
And it wasn't just Brenda and her co-stars holding back the tears as they reminisced on a touching video tribute during the show and the "extent his love has reached within the community." Jamal was an ambassador for the Prince's Trust, a youth charity which helps young people set up their own businesses, as well as juggling his music career as DJ and founder of the online R&B/Hip-Hop platform SB.TV.
The video clips gave an update to Brenda and her daughter Tanisha who has been "her rock" following the heartbreaking family death, continuing to carry out Jamal's "outstanding" work."This last year has been one big rollercoaster ride and I don't really like rollercoasters," Brenda admitted in the video.She continued: "But the support we have had has been overwhelming and really nice so it really is bittersweet.
I don't really think you can put it into words, its been good to have Tanisha here and we are going through this together."I try and not show her when I am upset and she does the same with me but there are times when we are both upset together."Talking about the relationship between Jamal and music sensation Ed Sheeran, Tanisha added the pair were "like brothers from another mother from the very beginning of Ed's career."The touching video continued to show heartwarming images and video clips of Jamal and Ed
