ICM Partners has named Julia Johnson as its new general counsel and executive vp, head of business and legal affairs to get to gender parity overall among the Hollywood agency's leadership ranks.
Johnson comes to ICM from APA, where she was a partner, executive vp, head of global business and legal affairs and general counsel.
She is expected to join ICM in November, with her appointment unveiled by Sloan Harris and Kevin Crotty, co-presidents of ICM Partners on Monday.
Johnson's hire at ICM marks another female department head named at the talent agency, which gets ICM to over 50 percent of all departments now run or co-run by women.
