takeaway in favour of early morning deliveries as grub habits have shifted during lockdown It's no surprise that food deliveries have soared during the crisis after restaurants, cafes and pubs were forced to close their shutters and turned to deliveries to feed hungry customers.But takeaway fans have been reaching for the breakfast menu with early morning meals and lunches being the more popular choice, according to new data by Just Eat.Scots veering away from evening meal deliveries are now ordering earlier to get a takeout coffees, brunch and a club sandwich fix while local haunts are closed.The online take-out service saw breakfast orders soar by 50 per cent in April and May compared to last year, with lunch orders surging by a whopping.
