SUPERHERO fans will no doubt remember the 1987 classic film Masters of the Universe. The movie starred Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, who arrived by chance on Earth from planet Eternia.
The beefy hero found himself on a crucial mission to save the universe from his evil nemesis Skeletor, played by screen legend Frank Langella.
Directed by Gary Goddard, Masters of the Universe was actually a bit of a flop, with Variety slamming it as “a colossal bore” and Los Angeles Times "a misfiring, underdone epic”.
Even so, fans agree the film had its own unique appeal, packed to the rafters with enjoyably daft comedy and fun action scenes.
