He-Man hunk Dolph Lundgren looks incredible 35 years on from Masters of the Universe
Hollywood icon Dolph Lundgren will be no stranger to fans of retro superhero movies thanks to his role as He-Man in 1987 offering Masters Of The Universe. The Swedish actor was a huge hit with fans of the film as he battled it out with his evil nemesis Skeletor after arriving on Earth from his native planet of Eternia. While the movie didn't garner much favour from critics, with Variety branding it “a colossal bore” and the Los Angeles Times slating it as "a misfiring, underdone epic,” it still earned itself a legion of fans thanks to the comical element to its action-packed plot. Now 35 years on from his role in the movie Dolph might surprise fans by not really looking all that different to his hunky appearance back in the 80s.His most memorable role was as Rocky Balboa's rival Ivan Drago in the 1985 boxing movie Rocky IV.The 62-year-old actor still has a chiselled jawline and thick sideswept blonde hair as well as an impressive looking physique staying in place on his 6ft 4 frame in general. While he may have left his skimpy leather outfit, gold shoulder pads and sword back in the '80s Dolph is still a pretty prominent Hollywood star having held on to his past success over the decades. He even has more superhero movie action under his belt from recent years having starred as King Nereus in Aquaman.Dolph will return to that role for the upcoming sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which of course stars hunky Game Of Thrones actor Jason Momoa in the leading role.Fans will also have seen him showing off his acting skills in big-name productions such as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Creed II, Arrow, and The Expendables series.Off-screen Dolph has been lucky enough to find the time for family life and has two daughters
