The Glasgow Kiltwalk has been postponed over coronavirus fears. More than 10,000 people were due to take part in the annual event on April 26 but have now been warned to stay away.Fearing for participants safety organisers made the ‘extremely difficult decision’ to rearrange the date to avoid spreading germs.
It comes after Nicola Sturgeon announced a ban on large gatherings amid the growing COVID-19 outbreak in Scotland.
