A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital after an alleged murder bid in Glasgow.Emergency crews were called to Stockwell Street in the city centre at 9.30pm on Friday, August 4 in response to a report of an alleged serious assault.
Medics attended and a 16-year-old boy was found seriously injured.He was raced to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where staff describe his condition as serious.
Police say a 41-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.The suspect is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 7.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30pm on Friday, 4 August, police were called to a report of a 16-year-old male youth seriously assaulted in Stockwell Street, Glasgow.
