A knifeman who stabbed a teenager to the neck outside a shop has been found guilty of murder. Akbar Khan, 21, now faces a life sentence after knifing 19-year-old Ibraheem Ali in Levenshulme during an ugly disturbance.
The pair and two others had been involved in a fight inside Wayne's Convenience Store on Stockport Road, before the shopkeeper ordered the men to leave.
As he left, Mr Ali shouted at Khan, telling him: "Get out of the shop now you f****** p****, get out of the shop now I'll f****** kill you".
Khan stayed in the shop for a time before leaving, armed with a knife. He swung his arm at Mr Ali three times, connecting with his neck while using 'severe' force. Mr Ali slumped to the ground into the door of the shop, with screaming and crying caught on camera as an onlooker shouted 'he's just stabbed a man'.
