A knifeman who stabbed a teenager to the neck outside a shop has been found guilty of murder. Akbar Khan, 21, now faces a life sentence after knifing 19-year-old Ibraheem Ali in Levenshulme during an ugly disturbance.

The pair and two others had been involved in a fight inside Wayne's Convenience Store on Stockport Road, before the shopkeeper ordered the men to leave.

As he left, Mr Ali shouted at Khan, telling him: "Get out of the shop now you f****** p****, get out of the shop now I'll f****** kill you".

Khan stayed in the shop for a time before leaving, armed with a knife. He swung his arm at Mr Ali three times, connecting with his neck while using 'severe' force.
