Caroline LeaperBecoming a yummy mummy staple is often enough to kill a brand’s credentials for every other demographic, but Lululemon is a brand that defies gravity and categorisation,  in much the same wear that its leggings defy human bulges.Founded in 1998 initially as a yoga line, it has survived two outspoken CEOs.

The first was its Candian founder, Chip Wilson who was forced to step down in 2013 after a series of unguarded comments. The most notorious of these concerned a line of the company’s yoga pants which on some women, became see-through during Downward Dog.
