While many would feel honoured to have leisure centres dedicated to their Olympic achievements, Victoria Pendleton has revealed to OK!
it makes her feel "awkward" every time she returns home to Bedfordshire. Victoria, 41, is one of this country’s most successful female Olympians after she rose to fame at the age of 16 in the cycling world before representing Great Britain in the 2005 and 2012 Olympics.
But opening up about growing up in Bedfordshire, she admitted she doesn't visit her parents very often due to her name being plastered over Stotold's sports centres.
Victoria told us: "I moved out when I was 18. I live in Dorset at the moment. My mum and dad still live there so I do go back sometimes." Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter.
