Floyd Mayweather made a remarkable gesture to young basketball fans by handing out $100 bills to kids selling sweets before an NBA game.Mayweather, 44, was in attendance for the LA Lakers match against current champions Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening.The Lakers were defeated 116-131 at the Crypto.com Arena as the travelling Bucks recorded a fourth straight victory to put pressure on top-of-the-table Miami Heat.Despite the result, some young supporters still left the 20,000 seater stadium with grins as wide as the Porciuncula River, due to meeting the American boxing legend pre-match.And Mayweather even had a surprise up his sleeve for some local entrepreneurs who were selling sweets outside the arena.In footage acquired by TMZ, the undefeated former welterweight champion was filmed saying: "I'm all about giving back to the kids," before proceeding to hand over $400 or $500 to the youthful sweetie sellers.With Marca estimating his net worth at $450m (£330m), the $100 bills are likely to be loose change for 'Money' but the children were clearly thrilled to receive such a huge paycheque for a night's work.Mayweather then turned to face the camera before adding: "The kids out here selling candy, they ain't doing nothing wrong."
