Electricity restored to 5,000 properties across Salford and Manchester - but 2,000 still hit by power cut

manchestereveningnews.co.ukMore than 7,000 people in Salford have lost power at their homes this afternoon. Engineers from Electricity North West have been called out to investigate the cause of the power shortage.
They said they were aware of a power cut affecting 7,911 people living within the M6 postcode. However on social media, people complained they had also been without power in other areas.
