As soon as they arrived in Albert Square in patriarch Charlie's black cab everyone knew the Slater family was going to be trouble.
The family was originally made up of gran, Mo, dad, Charlie, and four of his troublesome daughters - Kat, Lynne, Little Mo and Zoe.
Also in tow was Lynne's long-suffering partner, Garry. From the second they arrived the Slater clan have been involved in some of the most harrowing, explosive and downright dramatic storylines EastEnders has ever aired.
Kat revealing she was 'sister' Zoe's mum in an iconic scene where the youngest Slater sceamed 'you ain't my muvva' across the Square before Kat screeched back 'yes I am' has gone down in 'Enders history.
