Southampton star Dusan Tadic has described how he fought off armed gunmen who tried to rob his house in Amsterdam. The 33-year-old winger encountered the gun-toting individuals as he returned home from a local restaurant in July.
After arriving back at his house, the Ajax star was accosted by two assailants carrying three weapons. Speaking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Tadic explained how the incident began and how exactly he fought off the attackers.
He said: "I had been out to dinner with a friend at an Italian restaurant, but when I returned home two men tried to attack me. The next minute we were having a fight. By moving left and right, I drove them apart a little, I whacked their leader first. "The other one grabbed me from behind by my throat, but I was able to elbow him.
