Little Lewis Whitelaw has a memorable birthday after making his appearance this week. The 7lb 7oz tot was born at Dumfries Infirmary on 22.2.22.The date, a five-digit palindrome meaning it reads the same way backwards as forwards, is believed to be a particularly good day for new beginnings. It is so unique that there will not be another one for 200 years. And the fact it was a Tuesday has had some people branding it Twosday.Thrilled mum and dad Lyndsey and Craig Whitelaw were able to take Lewis home to Troqueer to meet six-year-old big brother Frazer the following day.Lyndsey, 34, said: “It’s a really special date to have had Lewis and we’re all delighted.“Hopefully it means he’ll be lucky in life but all we can ask for is that he’s happy and healthy.”
