mirror.co.ukA driver has been arrested after a DPD delivery van smashed through metal barrier and fell of a bridge in West Bromwich. The 26-year-old was checked over in hospital for minor injuries before he was held on suspicion of drink driving following the crash at the Albion Island on Friday at roughly 8.30pm.
Mobile phone footage – which has been views thousands of times – shows firefighters working at the scene following the dramatic smash, Birmingham Live reports.
Shocked viewers have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the crash. "That could have easily been a fatal," one said. "I'm shocked how that has even happened.
