Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are still thought to be on good terms despite the long-winded saga involving the transfer of Jude Bellingham.
The 17-year-old midfielder, who was also wanted by the Red Devils, has agreed to join the Bundesliga side for a fee that could rise to £22.75million.
Bellingham made his Birmingham debut at the start of this season aged 16 years and 38 days and is being tipped to become a huge star of the future.
While United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was keen to sign the highly-rated teenager he also covets Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho. The German side want at least £100m for the England international but United are not currently willing to go that high for the winger.
