He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.
Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (born 8 September 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Sporting CP and the Portugal national team as a midfielder. Fernandes started his career at Serie B side Novara Calcio and soon featured for Udinese and Sampdoria in Serie A.

In 2017, he signed with Sporting CP where he established himself as one of the best players in the Primeira Liga. He was named the LPFP Primeira Liga Player of the Year in both 2017–18 and 2018–19. In the latter season, he also helped Sporting win the Taça de Portugal. A senior international since 2017, Fernandes represented Portugal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Manchester United secured their spot in next season’s Champions League with Bruno Fernandes’ penalty and Jesse Lingard's stoppage time goal earning the Red Devils three points at Leicester.

United knew that if they avoided defeat at the King Power then they would be returning to Europe’s top table next season. It was a nervy clash at Leicester with the Foxes also in the battle for the Premier League top four.

Though Fernandes’ penalty, after Anthony Martial had been fouled, and Jesse Lingard's late goal was enough for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side with Leicester having Jonny Evans sent off.
