Manchester United have yet to make a formal offer to Borussia Dortmund for their No.1 summer transfer target Jadon Sancho. Reports from Germany claimed United have had a £89.3million opening bid for England winger Sancho rejected by Dortmund, who want at least £100m for their prized asset.
But, according to United sources, no formal offer has been made for Sancho, despite the 20-year-old being boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's top summer target.
With United hoping to land Sancho for a reduced fee because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the transfer market, an opening bid of close to £90m would make little sense from a negotiating point of view.
