Amber Heard's red face was shown in Johnny Depp's libel trial today after she claimed he "hurled a phone" at her. Heard alleges that on May 21, 2016, Depp, 57, threw the phone and smashed objects during a row at the penthouse, which he denies.
A picture of what Heard, 34, alleges is her injury from the attack was shown at the High Court as the second week of Depp's trial against NGN Group concluded.
Depp is suing NGN over an article that appeared in The Sun in 2018 in which he was branded a "wife beater", which he strenuously denies.
Depp's lifelong friend Isaac Baruch called the photographs "phoney baloney". Baurch said there were no signs of any marks, scratches, swelling or bruises on Heard's face after the alleged incident.
