Former England striker Gary Lineker has revealed how he was left baffled by the deletion of his goal in the new Diego Maradona documentary, during the infamous 'Hand of God' game between the Three Lions and Argentina.

Asif Kapadia’s film recounts the infamous 1986 World Cup quarter-final between in Mexico when Maradona punched the ball into England’s net past Peter Shilton, unnoticed by the referee.

Then minutes later, as controversy raged, he slalomed between English defenders to produce perhaps the greatest goal in the tournament’s history.
