Community lottery to launch in North Lanarkshire with view to helping good causes

A new community lottery is being launched to benefit good causes across North Lanarkshire.Launching in May, it will have a weekly jackpot of £25,000 and a range of other prizes; with players able to buy tickets for £1 per week in support of their favourite charity.The new venture is being overseen by Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (VANL) and will be run by lottery management company Gatherwell, who have already launched similar projects elsewhere.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
