Coatbridge boxer Ricky Burns has been offered a return to the ring later this year in Latvia, Lanarkshire Live Sport can reveal.
History-maker Burns, the first Scot to win world titles in three different divisions, lost his last outing to Lee Selby at the O2 Arena last October.However, before the Covid-19 outbreak he had vowed to fight on into 2020 and the 37-year-old looks set to get his wish against Russian Eduard Troyanovsky.
