Chelsea supporters have been left fuming after Timo Werner was denied his first Premier League goal of the season following a much-debated VAR intervention.
The Germany forward has not been able to find the net on a regular basis since moving to Stamford Bridge from RB Leipzig, scoring just six times in the league across 41 appearances before Saturday.
Following an opening strike from Trevoh Chalobah against Southampton, Werner thought he had grabbed a second goal to the delight of his colleagues and the home support.
