Mitchell was found guilty of killing Jodi, 14, in 2003. She was found stripped, stabbed and almost decapitated near her home in Dalkeith, Midlothian.He was jailed for at least 20 years but insists he is innocent.
Last month he was moved from Greenock prison to high security Shotts after failing a drug test.Campaigners are selling T-shirts and key-rings to supporters with the cash going to fund their protests, according to a YouTube video fronted by Dr Sandra Lean, who has supported Mitchell since 2006.
Lean showed viewers T-shirts which have slogans such as, “Open your eyes to the lies” with ‘Justice for Jodi and Luke’ on the back.However, Jodi’s family blasted the move.
