dog.Police in the town of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines confirmed on Friday (March 26) that they had retrieved the body Harry Bradley, 22, alongside his deceased dog.He had been missing from the village of Paderne near the holiday resort of Albufeira since March 15.Harry was found just before 8am local time, with his locked and parked Berlingo van having been found on a nearby waste ground the day before.Officers had used a sniffer dog search after detecting a signal from his mobile phone. He is understood to have been last seen going for a walk with his dog Nim in the village where he was living. No cause of death has been established, although local sources said there was no evidence of a crime.Speaking to the Portugal Resident, his mum Angela said Harry “was not in a good place” when he went for the walk. However, she also said she didn't believe he would've done anything to put Nim in a vulnerable position, saying: “Everything is going through my head, but I keep holding on to the belief that he would never do anything that would compromise Nim’s safety.”His disappearance prompted his dad Mark to rent a helicopter in an attempt to find him.An autopsy will be taking place in the next few days, although the results are not expected to be released publicly. The Bradley family moved to Portugal in 2017 with Harry arriving a year later after finishing his A-Levels.Advice from the Metropolitan Police on what to do if a person goes missing includes searching their home or wherever they were last seen, and looking for clues as to what they might be intending to do.For the latest breaking news and stories from across the globe from the Daily Star, sign up for our newsletter by clicking here..
