Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince Andrew's appearance at Prince Phillip's memorial may have sparked the concerns that Harry has for the Queen's safety, according to royal aids.
Buckingham Palace sources believe that Harry's fears over his grandmother's security were caused after she walked hand-in-hand with Andrew at the Service of Thanksgiving last month.
Royal watchers slammed the decision for his disgraced uncle to accompany the monarch, which increased concerns that the Queen has "forgiven" him after his bombshell civil sex case.
Earlier this week, the Duke of Sussex said he visited his grandmother to ensure “she’s protected and [has] got the right people around her." His comments in an interview on US channel NBC were first seen by royal watchers as a dig at his father, Prince Charles, and brother, William, reports the Mirror.
