Robert Jobson, royal biographer, claimed the Queen Mother would regularly invite William to see her on his own without his younger brother Harry.
William, who is second in line to the throne, would also often be arranged to sit next to her at family gatherings, Express reported.This allegedly became a "source of tension" between the two brothers, who have been seen to have a tumultuous relationship over the years.
