A brave grandma intervened when thugs attacked two shoppers in a busy store. Footage shows Casey Tighe, 18, Zeyn Badat, 18, and Ryan Lavelle, 20, attacking two men at a Wilko shop at the Arndale shopping centre in Manchester.
The grandma, who was shopping with her daughter and granddaughter, bravely intervened as the attack unfolded and pulled the attackers away.
CCTV footage of the attack, which was played at Manchester Crown Court, was described as "sickening" by Judge Suzanne Goddard QC, the Manchester Evening News reports.
