EastEnders' official return date has been confirmed by BBC bosses, after 12 weeks off the air.September 7 will see the hit BBC One soap opera make a dramatic comeback to TV screens up and down the country, with a fresh batch of episodes.Airing four evenings per week, each episode will be 20 minutes long, according to The Sun.
Speaking about the soap's return, executive producer Jon Sen said: "From the moment we turned the lights out in The Queen Vic our ambition was to come back with a bang and this autumn certainly does that.
