evoke.ieshow ran out of episodes for the first time in 35 years after production was stalled in March due to the global health crisis.So, how long will fans be waiting before they can get their next soap fix…BBC has announced that the beloved soap will be back on air from Monday September 7.In true EastEnders fashion, the last series ended on a number of serious cliffhangers with one of the most dramatic moments coming as Sharon was revealed as the new Queen Vic pub landlady.The 12-week hiatus has probably not helped matters and in the meantime but soaps fans have been given some relief as they are being treated to a trip down memory lane with the spin-off show EastEnders: Secrets From The Square.All the drama from Albert Square will now be taking.
