A well-known Bolton baker who was admitted to hospital twice with Covid-19 symptoms is now recovering at home. Helen Ducker was blue-lighted to Royal Bolton Hospital again on April 24 having experienced chest pains and breathlessness for the second time.
The 39-year-old, who owns the Mother Ducker bakery in the Last Drop Village, was first admitted to hospital in March where she tested positive for coronavirus.
She spent a week on the Covid-19 ward and left on April 4, with doctors believing she had recovered from the disease. But less than three weeks later, she was rushed back to A&E fearing blood clots on her lungs.
