There are so many variables: orange-toned or blue-toned, a matte formula or a semi-sheer? But Petal Bouche gives an instantly chic update to your make-up, and looks just as good worn alone or with a full-face of make-up.

Two years in the making, the incredibly chic founder, Violette, went back and forth with chemists to recreate the exact deep red shade of rose petals found at the rose gardens at Jardin Bagatelle in Paris.

It’s a cream-liquid formula, which does take some getting used to, but I’ve found the easiest way to use it is to remove any excess product on the neck.
