Loose Women stars Judi Love and Charlene White cried as they paid tribute to their co-star and close friend Brenda Edwards’ son Jamal Edwards.The panel of the ITV show - which also included Linda Robson, Carol McGiffin and Frankie Bridge - were visibly emotional as they discussed the heartbreaking news that music pioneer Jamal had tragically passed away aged 31.

During Monday 21 February’s special show in honour of Jamal, who helped launch the careers of music superstars like Ed Sheeran and Jessie J, Charlene, 41, explained how she and Judi, also 41, were with Brenda after the news broke.

As she continued to choke back tears, Charlene continued: "Any of you who regularly watch this show know that the love that Brenda had for both Jamal and daughter Tanisha was massive.

Her heart was full of so much love for those children." "So you know just how shocked Brenda is and just how hard it's hit all of us who knew him and, of course, all of us who love Brenda." The newsreader continued to explain how she and Judi went to see Brenda after they heard the news to show her their support.
